The Scottish Records Association

R K Vyst: Scotia's Archival Agony Aunt

In each edition of the Association's Newsletter, several archivists in Scotland combine under a 'pen name', R K Vyst, to answer questions which are asked in the search rooms of Scotland's archives. A different topic is covered each time and the answers are usually in a light-hearted style. People and places mentioned are often fictional stereotypes. Shortened versions are reproduced here: for the full versions, subscribe to the Newsletter by becoming a member of the SRA.
