	Archival Summaries

Archival Summaries The Association is currently updating its files on the holdings of archives and other institutions in Scotland, previously known as Datasheet 6. This listed (at collection level) the holdings of over 40 archives, libraries, museums, art galleries and other institutions in Scotland, but by 1995 had become seriously out of date. As information at collection level is now being undertaken by the Scottish Archive Network (SCAN) for over 50 archives and special collections libraries, the Association will not update the Datasheet 6 entries relating to these but concentrate on libraries, museums and other institutions who hold manuscript records, but are not covered by SCAN. The title, Datasheet 6, has been replaced by the title Archival Summaries. Additional entries will be added from time to time and an online database is in preparation. Updates and additions in printed form are supplied to Association members via the Association's Newsletter.
