Vacancy for Treasurer of the Scottish Records Association(Registered Charity SC008896)
The Scottish Records Association (SRA) is currently
seeking a new Honorary Treasurer. Founded in 1977, the SRA provides a forum for
users, owners and custodians of Scottish records to discuss matters relating to
the records, their custody and conservation and research. The SRA has an
active membership and produces a journal and conference each year, as well as a
biannual newsletter. It also offers additional activities for its members, such
as summer visits to archive repositories and palaeography workshops. As
Treasurer, you will be one of seven honorary office bearers on the SRA Council
and will make a vital contribution to the smooth running of the Association.
